About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Minimum qualification required is a High School Diploma or Secondary education while a Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Hospitality is desirable.
• The candidate should have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with Micros and Epicure Restaurant Reservation systems.
• Proficiency in English (reading writing and speaking) is essential. The individual must demonstrate strong customer service skills professionalism integrity and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A proactive attitude strong organizational skills respect for cultural differences and adherence to Jumeirah grooming and service standards are essential for this role.

About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for aHostess to join theFood & BeverageinJumeirah Muscat Bay. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Ensure the hostess desk or entrance is always manned providing guests with a warm friendly and prompt welcome upon arrival.

• Manage restaurant reservations enquiries and bookings in accordance with Restaurant Reservations SOP and F&B standards.

• Greet guests courteously escort them to their tables present menus promptly and coordinate with service colleagues to ensure a seamless dining experience.

• Provide personalized service to VIPs and regular guests maintaining awareness of their preferences special requests and dietary requirements.

• Maintain thorough knowledge of restaurant operations seating plans in-house services and local information to assist guests effectively.

• Handle guest interactions professionally ensure confidentiality maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess area and attend required training sessions.
