The role

We are seeking an experienced Project Control and Scheduling Specialist (International Expert) to support a major Hydropower and Dams project in Pasig City Philippines. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing maintaining and analyzing project schedules supporting claims management and contract administration and coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project objectives.

  • Develop and maintain baseline updated and look-ahead schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Ensure schedules reflect realistic resource planning construction sequencing and HSE-critical activities.
  • Analyze schedule variances identify potential delays and recommend corrective measures.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports (daily weekly and monthly) including S-curves earned value metrics critical path analyses and data visualizations.
  • Coordinate with project engineers contractors and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of timelines.
  • Support claims management and contract administration using scheduling data.

With a track record of achievement in a related role you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.

Suitable applicants will have/be:

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field; Masters Degree in Project Management or Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with a minimum of 5 years in dam or hydropower project scheduling and controls.
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project including Primavera P6 Certification or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies in civil hydraulic and geotechnical engineering.
  • Ability to perform critical path analysis earned value analysis and what-if scenario planning.
  • Strong report writing technical analysis and communication skills.
  • Expertise in Power BI for data analysis and reporting (would be considered an additional advantage).
