Pay Information
This position is in the State of Ohios OCSEA Pay Schedule Pay Range 31. Unless required by legislation or union contract starting salary will be the minimum salary of that pay range (step 1 currently $27.92per hour). These ranges provide a standardized pathway for pay increases. With continued employment new hires move to the next step in the range after 6 months and annually thereafter. Cost of Living Adjustments increase wages in these ranges each fiscal year. The current step progression wages are in the table below.

Office of Child Support
This position is in the Office of Child Support (OCS) which establishes policies and guidelines for the child support program based on federal and state laws. Ohios child support program provides services to help ensure that children receive the financial and medical support they are legally entitled to and deserve. What You Will Do
Research child support policy and system information to develop training presentations and materials.
Deliver training to county and state child support professionals and assist in the facilitation of training sessions.
Perform after training session duties including tracking attendance reviewing evaluation feedback and updating handouts and question and answer documents.
Collaborate as needed with other OCS units ODJFS offices and county partners to produce training.
Monitor a shared email inbox and respond to inquiries.

Challenges
You will be responsible for creating and conducting training that requires in-depth knowledge of child support policy and systems.
Schedule: Full-time.
Hours: Standard workdays are Monday through Friday. Hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Travel: As needed within the state of Ohio for ad hoc or regional county training.
