Position Description:
The Training Coordinator supports the development coordination tracking and quality control of technical and operational training programs across the organization. This role works closely with Line of Business Directors Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) the Corporate Continuous Improvement Training (CIT) team and external training providers to ensure employees receive accurate roleâspecific and compliant training. The Training Coordinator manages LMS administration course completion tracking content uploads and communication related to training requirements and progress.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management Facilities Management or a related technical field; equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
- 2 years of experience in training coordination workforce development or operations support
- Experience administering and reporting from an LMS
- Strong organizational communication and followâup skills
- Ability to manage multiple training programs simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in construction or technical environments
- Working knowledge of electrical mechanical facility maintenance building automation low voltage or commissioning
- Experience coordinating thirdâparty training vendors
Essential Duties:
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding training access enrollment and completion status.
- Maintain accurate documentation to support audits compliance reviews and regulatory inspections.
- Coordinate instructor-led training (ILT) external training (EXT) and internal training programs.
- Create and maintain training plans based on job titles job descriptions and SME input.
- Work directly with LOB Directors and SME teams to identify missing or needed training.
- Partner with Corporate CIT to ensure training content reflects current processes standards and improvements.
- Administer the LMS by:
- Creating ILTs and uploading content
- Tracking course completion for current employees
- Communicating completed and outstanding training requirements
- Support the Services training program initiatives by:
- Creating weekly ILTs in the LMS
- Communicating required training to employees
- Tracking attendance and completion
- Upload and maintain training materials in LINK.
- Perform quality control (QC) checks on courses for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with Training Development Manager to ensure training aligns with applicable state and federal requirements across multiple U.S. locations.
- Support training effectiveness measurement by maintaining participation data completion rates and evaluation feedback.
Physical Work Classification & Demands:
- Light Work. Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
- The individual in this position will periodically walk kneel sit crouch reach stoop read/see speak push pull lift stand and finger/type. The frequency of each action varies by workflow and office activity.
- Walking - The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets office machinery boxes cabinets etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as a calculator copy machine phone computer and computer printer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with employees and external stakeholders regarding a variety of topics related to office administration.
- Constantly computes analyzes and conceptualizes mathematical calculations and formulas.
