The role: As an Instructor Leader you will be working as part of a team and will facilitate lead support and participate in a range of activities and events for young children (5 & under) children (6-11yrs) and/or youth (12-18yrs) in our summer camp programs. You will ensure the safety and care of all participants and promote an inclusive welcoming environment. It is a great opportunity to learn new skills.
What we offer: The rate of pay for this short term auxiliary CUPE bargaining unit position is $24.97 per hour plus 12% in lieu of benefits (this is equivalent to a wage of $27.96 per hour). The successful candidate(s) will also have access to a reduced cost Employee Wellness Pass for Recreation facilities and programs.
Season: The season for these short-term auxiliary roles typically starts in July and ends in late August working full-time hours. The successful candidates will be required to attend training week that runs June 29 to July 3 2026.
