The Content Leader will be responsible for managing YouTube channel onboarding compliance and monetization activities. This role ensures seamless integration of large video catalogs maintains adherence to YouTube and internal guidelines and supports sales and content teams to optimize distribution and revenue operations.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Management & Compliance
- Audit YouTube channels prior to onboarding to ensure eligibility and content quality.
- Identify and flag compliance issues as per YouTube Community Guidelines and internal standards.
- Manage end-to-end YouTube channel onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Oversee large-scale catalog integrations including onboarding 100 YouTube channels at a time
- Monitor and control video content types to ensure quality and compliance.
- Identify and review videos/channels violating YouTube Community Guidelines.
Operational Support & Coordination
- Handle requests from Channel Managers through the internal ticketing system.
- Provide customer care and operational support to the Sales Team to maintain Believes service standards for video operations.
- Support sales teams with internal processes aligned to their distribution requirements.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure process adherence and guideline control.
Video Delivery & Monetization
- Manage ingestion and monetization of video catalog across digital platforms.
- Ensure timely and accurate video deliveries to all concerned digital video platforms.
- Work on monthly metadata resolutions and allocate revenues to the rightful producers.
- Analyze financial data and perform necessary adjustments in reporting.
- Review delivery errors and ensure correct product creation.
- Analyze revenue generated from closed accounts and take appropriate corrective actions.
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly operational reports using advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables VLOOKUP Power Query etc.).
- Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement and optimization of workflows.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Media Communication or related field.
- 8 years of experience in YouTube operations digital distribution or video content management.
- Should have prior experience in managing a team (Mandatory)
- Strong understanding of YouTube policies CMS tools and digital rights management.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent coordination communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage large-scale data and multi-channel operations efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions data analysis dashboards and reporting).
