Job Summary

The Challenge

To supervise the maintenance installation and modification of all apparatus in designated areas and ensure tasks are conducted in accordance with regulations and set procedures to achieve optimum equipment availability and process efficiency objectives.

Qualifications :

Qualifications / NQF Equivalent:

Grade 12 with Mathematics Science and E in English (20 points) or National Senior Certificate AND
Pre-1993 - Trade Diploma with N2 Certificate OR
Level 4 Trade Diploma with 4 theoretical subjects at Level 3 OR
Post 1994 - Level 3 Trade certificate with 4 theoretical subjects at Level 3 OR

Grade 10 with Mathematics Science and E in English (24 Points) AND
Pre-1993 - Trade Diploma with N3 Cert OR
Level 4 Trade Diploma with 4 theoretical subjects at Level 3 OR
Post 1994 - Level 3 Trade certificate with 4 theoretical subjects at Level 3
Valid Code B/BE Drivers license (Manual Transmission).
Computer literate in MS-Office packages
Knowledge of Namibian Labour Law
Six (6) years post apprenticeship experience as an Artisan in the mining industry.
Preference will be given to candidates with at least six (6) years of Volvo A60H articulated dump truck experience with at least one (1) years experience supervising a workshop. Volvo A60Hs should have formed part of the fleet being maintained.
