Job Summary
Position: Board-Certified/Eligible Internal Medicine Physician
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Internal Medicine Physician to join our clients team. As a leading healthcare provider in the community they are committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to their patients. The ideal candidate will be a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician with a passion for delivering high-quality care in an outpatient hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive adult primary care to patients in an outpatient hospital setting
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes hypertension and heart disease
- Conduct routine exams and screenings to promote preventive care and early detection of health issues
- Coordinate specialty referrals for patients as needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in the field of Internal Medicine
- Communicate effectively with patients their families and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills in the management of chronic conditions and preventive care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
