As a Principal Consultant you will serve as the technical and strategic lead overseeing solution design client engagement delivery governance and cross-functional coordination. You will be instrumental in driving digital transformation for our banking clients through scalable secure and high-performance solutions.
Desired Skills & Experience
- You possess experience in end-to-end Development and / or Implementation and / or Support activities covering expertise areas such as design of customizations Coding and Unit testing executing Test cycle rounds migrations and Integrations for Oracle Digital Banking (OBDX) products
- You have good expertise on Digital Banking applications
- You possess knowledge and skills in software programming in Core Java J2EE Microservices related technologies Springboot JavaScript XML. Experience in Oracle SQL PL/SQL and Oracle Database (18c or 12c) is a plus.
- You have exposure to software deployment and troubleshooting on Application Server software especially Oracle Weblogic
- You have working knowledge of Release management and Source control tools
- You should be able to perform issue tracking for applications and follow-up for resolution of same with stakeholders
- You possess good client interaction skills in areas including presentation of solutions
- You have exposure to software deployment and troubleshooting on Application Server software especially Oracle Weblogic
- You have awareness of banking terminologies and concepts
- You possess good skills on Microsoft Office MS Excel Powerpoint
- You possess good communication & documentation skills in English
Experience
- Experience in development and / or implementation and / or support of Digital Banking applications.
Work Environment
- Should be willing to work at UK as primary work location. Will also have to travel to client locations in UK and Europe on need basis. Willing to work in shifts as defined by project needs
- Should be willing to take up Oracle Banking / OBDX Technical certifications in functional areas as and when required.
- Ability to work in a high pressure fast moving and challenging environment
- Team player
- On need basis - should be able to work in shifts on rotation basis based on project needs
Responsibilities- Design develop and tailor Oracle Banking Digital Experience (OBDX) applications to meet the needs of banking clients.
- Contribute to both user interface (UI/UX) development and server-side functionality using Java and Rest APIs of digital banking solutions.
- Build and implement integrations using SOAP and RESTful web services.
- Act as a solution architect for digital banking projects aligning technology with business goals.
- Guide teams across development QA and support functions to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Engage with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Mentor consultants and lead capability building within the team.
- Develop solutions as per specifications/requirements given by Oracle / Client within planned schedule.
- Use defined standards/tools/processes to achieve deliverables that meet quality expectations of Oracle / Client.
- Document all work in accordance with agreed standards/processes applicable for Oracle / Client.
- Adhere to defined Change Control Process of Oracle / Client. Comply with Oracle / Client audit / Compliance requirements.
- Ensure quality code delivery.
- Perform proper handover / knowledge transfer at end of each assignment.
- Timely status reporting to supervisor.
