Job Summary
Position Description:
Role Overview
We are seeking a Financial Processing Administrator to join our Back Office Operations team. Working with CI Global Asset Management (CI GAM) as a client the Administrator will support CI GAMs high-net-worth product lines and will be responsible for reviewing and processing mutual fund transactions.
This role requires a high degree of accuracy strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a structured environment while contributing to process improvements.
Education & Certifications
. Post-secondary degree in Business Finance Accounting or a related field (required)
. Completion of IFIC or Canadian Securities Course (CSC) (preferred considered an asset)
Experience & Knowledge
. At least 2 years of experience in financial services back-office operations or fund administration
. Knowledge of mutual fund operations investment products and financial industry processes (e.g. plan types tax rules trade types) (asset)
Key Responsibilities
. Review and process mutual fund transactions accurately and efficiently
. Ensure compliance with operational procedures policies and regulatory requirements
. Maintain detailed documentation of transactions and reconciliations
. Identify and resolve transaction discrepancies escalations or operational issues
. Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
. Collaborate with team members to provide backup support as needed
. Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding transaction status and operational updates
