Residential Property Solicitor (3 PQE) OR Legal Exec (10yr Experience)

Location: Near Stockport (Greater Manchester)

Salary: 40000 to 55000 (dependent on experience)

Experience: 3 years PQE (or equivalent experience)

This is an excellent opportunity for a Residential Property Solicitor or Legal Exec to join an established local firm with a strong conveyancing offering across the Stockport area. Youll handle a varied caseload of residential property matters with the support of a close-knit team and a genuinely client-focused approach.

The Opportunity

• Run a caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion

• Handle a mix of sales purchases remortgages and transfers of equity

• Manage freehold and leasehold transactions

• Draft and review contracts TR1s reports on title and supporting documentation

• Liaise with clients agents lenders and third parties to progress matters efficiently

• Deal with exchange and completion including pre-completion and post-completion formalities

• Ensure files are maintained accurately and in line with firm and regulatory requirements

What Were Looking For

Essential

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales

• 3 years PQE (or equivalent experience) in residential conveyancing OR 10 yr experience for unqualified

• Proven ability to manage a conveyancing caseload with minimal supervision

• Strong technical knowledge across the conveyancing process (including leasehold)

• Confident communicator with a client-first mindset

• Strong organisation and attention to detail

• Comfortable working in a busy deadline-driven environment

Desirable

• Experience of more complex residential matters (for example new build or shared ownership)

• Experience supporting junior colleagues or contributing to team development

Whats On Offer
