Job Summary
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general ledger accounting including journal entries accruals provisions and adjustments
- Manage month-end quarter-end and year-end close activities
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Handle intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal policies
- Analyze financial data and explain variances
- Maintain accounting documentation
- Support process improvements transitions and standardization initiatives
- Collaborate with AP AR IC Tax and other finance teams
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
- Experience in Record to Report (RTR) / GL accounting
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP)
- Reporting Tools: Hyperion & Power BI
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in commerce Accounting & Finance
- 4 - 6 years of experience in RTR / Finance operation
Essential Job Functions:
Execute business process transactions ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
Collaborate with senior analysts managers and other team members.
Assist in process improvement projects and data analysis.
Support the team in identifying process bottlenecks and maintaining quality standards.
Ensure compliance with established quality and procedural guidelines.
Contribute to updating and documenting process procedures.
Work with the team to achieve performance targets and quality standards.
Participate in training and development programs.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Typically 1 years of relevant work experience
Proven experience in business process transactions
Proficiencies in business process management and optimization
A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
Other Qualifications:
Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus
Relevant certifications (e.g. Six Sigma PMP) or significant relevant work experience a plus
