Job Summary

Research Assistant INCAPart Time Term positionIndigenous Communication and ArtsRegina CampusThis research assistant will work directly with INCA Faculty to assist students in the radio studio. The assistant will be responsible for recording and editing podcasts and providing technical support in the INCA CFNU radio studio for students and those working on other INCA-related podcasts for stories and special projects. The First Nations University of Canada (FNUniv) allows students of all nations to learn in an environment of First Nations cultures and values. The University continues to uphold its mission of enhancing the quality of life and preserving protecting and interpreting First Nations peoples history language culture and artistic is a unique learning place specializing in Indigenous knowledge and providing post-secondary education for Indigenous and non-Indigenous students within a culturally supportive First Nations University of Canada is a federated college of the University of Regina and its academic programs are accredited through that values include wisdom respect humility sharing harmony beauty strength and : Work with students to record and edit podcasts interviews and students working for CFNU with technical available to work with INCA professors on research projects. The applicant must have complicated at least 100 hours with a mainstream/public radio station. Applicant must have prior experience running studio boards in . Applicant must have experience running their own independent film and video must have at least 10 years of experience working on film and video in Indigenous communities.
