Job Summary

Job Description

The successful candidate will join the Passenger Revenue Control Department in SIA Finance Division. He/She will manage the Revenue Protection Unit in Passenger Revenue Control department and lead a team of 3 associates in (i) investigation of card payment fraudulent transactions (ii) monitoring and reporting of fraud trends and losses (iii) formulation and implementation of fraud mitigation policies systems and procedures with relevant stakeholders in compliance with industry and company requirements to minimise revenue leakage for SIA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely prevention detection and recovery of losses from credit card payment fraud.
  • Prepare reports on fraud trends and losses arising from ticketing manipulation and card payment fraud for managements review.
  • Work closely with various divisions in the company and stations on fraud prevention/mitigation issues.
  • Provide guidance to stations on fraud related issues.
  • Manage a team of 3 associates to deliver the units work outcome as well as his/her assigned specialty functional tasks.
  • Work with Projects/IT business units in conceptualising testing and implementing enhancements to the systems to automate work processes and facilitate the delivery of commercial initiatives and industry changes.
  • Where changes impact on Finances business processes he/she is expected to develop and conduct the change management process for Revenue Protection Unit.

Requirements

  • University degree in accounting or business administration.
  • Prior experience or working knowledge in the areas of fraud profiling and detection.
  • Prior experience or working knowledge of the airline industry and/or payment card industry would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of AI and automation tools will be advantageous.
  • Good Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Meticulous and task-oriented.
  • Active team-player.
  • Inquisitive mind.
