Demand & Supply Planning Manager
Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fully responsible for the demand and supply planning in the country
- Provide leadership and partner with key stake holders within the supply chain teams to drive process improvement and meet business demands in some or all of the following functions: new product launches product line transfers end of life (EOL) product life cycle planning purchasing and inventory management
- Redefines systems processes and organizational structures in order to maximize forecast accuracy and financial savings
- Develop strategies for improving operation efficiencies while improving service levels and optimizing inventory levels as well as operation costs
- Cooperate with local management for all initiatives implementation in the country
- Collaborate with other functions such as sales/marketing finance RA/QA and IT to intergrade business process and develop solutions
- Prepare inventory scrap operations cost forecasts and budget recommendations for management
- Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to demand forecasting inventory processes/operations; measure actual performance against goals on regular basis and present results to senior management
- Develop employee in relations to training performance management career development and employee relations;
- Provide leadership by assigning goals which align to entity annual plans and department needs then manage team to execute goals through coaching and mentoring
- Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget scheduling expenditures analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
- Create and maintains departmental reports and track Key KPI as required
- Ensure compliance with established procedures and maintain effective internal control over customer service processes
- Develop and implement customer service policies procedures/SOPs and ensure 100% compliance
- Apply continuous improvement tools to identify and eliminate the root causes of issues that may arise within the warehouse including managing corrective action
- Participate in teams committees events and training which improves the organization
