Description

Opportunity to join a forward thinking innovative team at Chubb Insurance Group a world leader in the insurance industry. This position offers the candidate the ability to work on the Financial Reporting and Analytics Team of Chubb Overseas General Global Treaty Reinsurance Operations a service provider in the administration of global reinsurance programs with over 50 countries around the world.

The candidate will work directly with a team focused on creative solutions across many departments to provide reporting deliverables financial analytics and reinsurance transaction analysis while seeking improvements opportunities to transform current processes and workflows.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with international teams to oversee intricate reinsurance process flows offering a chance to interact with diverse cultures.
  • Assist with monthly bordereaux generation of 100 facultative relationships focusing on payment processing report generation and financial reconciliations.
  • Support monthly quarterly and year-end financial close providing an opportunity to learn and apply MS applications Alteryx PeopleSoft and Cognos to develop financial statements and improve data reconciliation.
  • Contribute to the financial operations of Chubb International Management Corporation through cashflow monitoring service fee planning and billing and financial statement preparation.
  • Develop cashflow forecasts and prepare actuals to expected variance commentary for the Global Treaty Unit holding cash of $4B working collaboratively with Affiliated Reinsurance External Recoveries Investments Treasury and Asset Management Teams.
  • Review and prepare Blackline reconciliations for 20 accounts across all Global Treaty entities to assess exposure concerns.
  • Support Sapiens Roll-out by performing and documenting UAT test scenarios sharing and discussing findings and concerns and validating data integrity.


Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1-3 years of experience in Accounting or Finance preferred (within the insurance industry is a plus but not required)
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • MS Office experience including Excel (power tools including power query power automate and power BI a plus but not required)
