Job Summary

The Role
Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on subject specialism
Delivering engaging well-structured lessons that promote deep conceptual understanding
Supporting pupils with practical investigations and examination preparation
Monitoring pupil progress and implementing targeted strategies to raise attainment
Contributing to curriculum refinement and departmental development planning
Supporting STEM enrichment activities and wider school initiatives
Maintaining high standards of laboratory safety and compliance
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Biology Chemistry Physics or a related discipline
Experience teaching Science at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and confident practical delivery skills
High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and achievement
A professional organised and reflective teaching approach
