The Role
Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Delivering engaging lessons across performance composition and music theory
Supporting pupils with GCSE and A Level coursework and exam preparation
Leading or contributing to ensembles choirs and extracurricular groups
Supporting whole-school productions and performance events
Monitoring pupil attainment and implementing strategies to secure strong outcomes
Contributing to curriculum development and departmental planning
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Music or related discipline
Experience teaching Music at secondary level
Strong practical musicianship and rehearsal leadership skills
High expectations for pupil engagement and performance standards
A collaborative and creative professional approach
