Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Payroll Cloud Consultant to support the BC Ferries project. This role requires strong hands-on experience in Canadian Payroll implementation and the ability to lead workshops configure payroll modules and support end-to-end implementation activities.
The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders solution architects and project teams to deliver a compliant and efficient Oracle Payroll Cloud solution aligned with statutory and organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead workshops with business stakeholders to gather payroll requirements and translate them into Oracle Payroll Cloud solutions ensuring alignment with organizational policies and statutory regulations.
- Work with solution architects to develop a future architecture that meets clients strategic and operational needs.
- Configuration of Oracle Payroll modules including payroll definitions elements balances and other payroll components to meet business needs.
- Develop and execute test cases (unit system and user acceptance testing) to validate payroll functionality and address any issues prior to go-live.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience implementing Oracle Payroll Cloud.
- Mandatory experience in Canadian Payroll implementation (including compliance with Canadian payroll legislation).
- Strong experience leading payroll workshops and gathering business requirements.
- Hands-on configuration experience across Oracle Payroll modules.
- Experience supporting testing cycles (unit SIT UAT).
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
