Job Summary

Role: Python / SQL Consultant.

Location: Mississauga ON (Onsite).
Duration: Long Term Contract.

Role Summary:

Execute advanced Python automation SQL data engineering and ETL pipelines while leveraging GitHub and GitHub Actions for optimized development workflows. Drive business development initiatives through market analysis stakeholder collaboration and strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Development:

Develop and optimize ETL processes using Python and SQL for efficient data management and business intelligence.
Implement advanced Python automation scripts to streamline operational workflows and reduce manual effort.
Manage source code repositories using GitHub with advanced GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines automated testing and deployment workflows.
Design and maintain scalable data pipelines processing structured/unstructured data for analytics and reporting.

Business Development:

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering product sales) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business decision-making.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients stakeholders and internal teams through excellent communication.
Present technical solutions project status and business recommendations to diverse audiences.

Required Technical Expertise:

Version Control & CI/CD: GitHub GitHub Actions Git branching strategies CI/CD pipelines Automated Testing.
Data Engineering: ETL processes Python (Pandas NumPy requests) SQL (advanced queries optimization) Data Modeling.
Automation: Python scripting workflow automation API integrations scheduled jobs (cron/Airflow)
Cloud/DevOps: AWS/GCP/Azure (exposure) Docker (preferred) Jenkins (alternate CI/CD).

Professional Experience & Soft Skills:

8-12 years relevant experience in data engineering software development or business intelligence.
Proven business development track record with demonstrated impact on revenue growth or strategic initiatives.
Strong analytical skills for market research competitive analysis and data-driven decision making.
Excellent communication written and verbal for client/stakeholder relationship management.
