Rates:
Malpractice Must be included in rates.
Orientation $262.50-287.50 - half the hourly/callback rate kicks in after 8 hours. Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours
On Call (Daily) $3500-$4000 - Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis
24 Hour Holiday Call Rate - $Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis
Call Back $525-$575 Per hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms.
Holiday Call Back $797.50-862.50 Per holiday hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms.
Schedule/Availability Requirements:November 23 thru 29th ending morning of 30th
December 23 thru Jan 3 ending morning of 4th
24 hour call with hospital rounding in house for 8 hours--procedures and rounding. Rounding time is dependent on how many patients are on consultative service at the time but flexible.
There will not be another Gastroenterologist present while the locum is on assignment. Locums will not be supervising other healthcare providersRequired Procedures:Colonoscopy

Management of hospitalized GI patients
EMR: EPICPractice Type: Hospital and Call Coverage Only No Clinic Credentialing ideally - 60 to 90 daysERCP volumes (this is key for him since volumes are declining at his perm and he wants to maintain his proficiency) ERCP one to two per week
General/other procedure volumes Other volumes vary. But I would think one to two scopes per day.
NP support No NP support
Is there another doc on or is locum solo Solo locum. No clinic.
What type of support staff is there How many NP/PA RNs and Endotechs It is hospital call only. So in the endoscopy room they have RNs and CRNAs
What is the average number of scopes Hospital you will have 1 to 2 scopes per day
What is the average number of new patient consults per day 1 to 2
What is the average number of patients to round on per day 5 to 6

- Board Certified - REQUIRED
- State License Pending license accepted may obtain at offer (Will consider IMLC) - REQUIRED
- BLS DEA - REQUIRED
- Malpractice Clean Preferred
- Self-Query NPDB report is mandatory at the time of presentation. The Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date. - REQUIRED
- The site is move forward with candidate who are experience in general GI but highly preferred that candidate have ERCP cert.
Case logs will be requested for reviewal at presentation and offer.ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
