Position type: HourlyResponsibilities
- Operate EDM machinery including set-up and program editing with ability to produce advanced routine/non-routine parts and components.
- Perform machining operations on a variety of EDM Machines including shop floor programming and using such procedures as multiple setups in place machining of fixtures.
- Study work orders blueprints engineering plans materials specifications reference planes locations of surfaces and machining parameters interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
- Select align and secure holding fixtures and cutting tools using hand tools and tool length off-set equipment.
Qualifications
- Experienced Machinist Level.
- Ability to understand Blueprints and GD&T.
- Fluent in using all types of measuring equipment from hand tools to CMM and Optical comparators.
- Read and understand G and M codes.
- Strong attention to detail ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
