Job Description

CNC Lathe Machinist / CNC Machinist / CNC Lathe Operator required to join a leading aftermarket engineering company based in Pearland TX.

CNC Lathe Machinist / CNC Machinist / CNC Lathe Operator will perform precision turning on large components such as turbines rotors and shafts. The role supports both new and repair work requiring experience operating CNC lathes with Fanuc Controls (or similar) setting up jobs making program edits and ensuring quality standards are met.

CNC Lathe Machinist / CNC Machinist / CNC Lathe Operator will ideally have experience working to tight tolerances in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment with the ability to read blueprints and G-Code while maintaining strong safety and quality standards.

CNC Lathe Machinist / CNC Machinist / CNC Lathe Operator Role

Set up and operate CNC lathes / turning centres.
Perform turning operations including facing threading boring drilling and grooving.
Machine and repair shafts rotors and other rotating equipment components.
Edit programs and adjust tooling as required.
Inspect parts using micrometres callipers and dial indicators.
Read and interpret blueprints and G-Code.
Maintain tight tolerances on large components.
Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust feeds and speeds.
Maintain a safe and organised work environment.

CNC Lathe Machinist / CNC Machinist / CNC Lathe Operator Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
2 years CNC lathe/turning experience.
Experience machining large shafts or rotating equipment preferred.
Ability to set up machines and make minor program edits.
Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience working to tight tolerances.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
