Location Type: This is a fulltime hourly position based onsite in Ogden UT.
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to support our automation and customequipment manufacturing team. This position involves approximately 80% manual machining and 20% CNC machining with a strong focus on accuracy craftsmanship and collaboration. The ideal candidate is detailoriented proficient with precision measurement tools and comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering-driven environment.
How Youll Make an Impact:
Perform manual machining operations with a high level of precision and consistency
Complete conversational programming on CNC equipment; experience with AcuRite MILLPWR G2 and EZTRACK controllers preferred
Interpret and manipulate 2D CAD files including importing DXF files for machining
Collaborate with engineering and internal teams to confirm fixture setups orientations and critical dimensions
Inspect and verify critical dimensions using precision measurement tools
Communicate potential quality concerns clearly and promptly to management
Maintain a clean organized workspace and follow all safety procedures
Support machining activities as needed to meet production and project deadlines

What Youll Bring:
Proven experience as a Manual Machinist with exposure to CNC machining
Strong understanding of machining principles manual machine operation and precision measuring tools
Experience with conversational CNC programming; familiarity with AcuRite MILLPWR G2 and EZTRACK preferred
Ability to interpret 2D CAD drawings manipulate files and import DXFs
Knowledge of CMM techniques and GD&T principles (preferred)
Ability to inspect and confirm critical dimensions independently
Strong communication and problemsolving skills
High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
