Major Accountabilities

• Translate global unit category strategy into global/unit/subcategory strategy or translate regional procurement strategy into country-level implementation.

• Lead execution of sourcing plans for the subcategory and deliver savings targets.

• Contribute to category/subcategory strategy through supplier segmentation and identification of key supplier relationships.

• Lead business planning activities ensuring timely staffing and execution aligned with targeted goals.

• Manage strategic subcategory supplier relationships and ensure timely resolution of supplier performance risks/issues with consistent KPIs.

• May directly control country-level purchasing decisions including supplier choice timing and commercial conditions (depending on business unit).

• Create apply complete and review major contracts for the subcategory ensuring clear communication and consistent application across business units.

• Collect supplier information and feedback from business units sites Category teams and Business Partners and deliver Procurement Balanced Scorecard metrics.

Minimum Requirements & Key Competencies

• At least 5 years of development and earlyresearch exposure ideally within a CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization) or R&Dintensive environment both from Pharmaceutical industry as an advantage.

• Strong contractual exposure including negotiation drafting and management of major contracts.

• Demonstrated capability in functional breadth operations management project management and industry/business exposure.

• Experience in critical negotiations and managing resources including talent development for direct or indirect reports.

• Effective communication skills and ability to work in crosscultural environments.

• Proven ability to analyze internal and external customer needs and drive satisfaction.

• Finance management skills with a focus on value delivery and procurement productivity.

• Fluency in English.

Compensation Structure & Criteria:

Sandoz compensation is determined by job level qualifications niche skills experience and location within company salary ranges. Fully proficient and highly effective employees can expect a starting salary around market median with those new to the level or with less functional depth at the lower end of the range and those with sustained superior or niche skills towards the higher end of the range. Internal equity and external market data inform our range placement. Annual salary reviews consider performance outcomes market alignment and business needs.
