Analytics Engineer
Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Reports to: Manager of Data Strategy & Operations (DSO)
Position Summary
The Analytics Engineer owns end-to-end analytics solutions from data ingestion and transformation through semantic modeling and reporting. This role partners with business stakeholders and application teams to deliver trusted scalable analytics that support enterprise decision-making and operational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Design build and maintain data pipelines and transformations supporting enterprise analytics use cases.
Own analytics solutions across the full lifecycle from data ingestion through transformation modeling and reporting.
Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Flows. Design maintain and optimize semantic models and reporting solutions in Power BI. Partner with business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into well-defined data
solutions. Collaborate closely with Integration Engineers and Application Engineers to define clean
data handoffs ownership boundaries and system responsibilities. Establish and promote analytics standards documentation and best practices to ensure
consistency and reusability.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology Computer Science Data Analytics or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in analytics engineering business intelligence or data engineering roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Flows. Strong proficiency with Power BI including semantic modeling and report development. Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (e.g. fact and dimension modeling). Experience delivering end-to-end analytics solutions in production environments. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate
effectively across technical and business teams. Ability to translate business needs into effective scalable analytics solutions. Ability to operate independently with limited day-to-day supervision in a distributed team
environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field. Experience working in commercial distribution and/or light manufacturing
environments. Prior experience developing data solutions tied to Epicor Salesforce Tacton CPQ or
similar enterprise platforms. Working experience with Azure Databricks in support of data transformation or
integration workflows. Familiarity with data quality governance or metadata management practices. Experience supporting or enabling self-service analytics solutions.
