What you will be doing in this role
In this roleyou willassistthe Maintenance Manager in overseeing all maintenance activities across the hospital. You willrespond to andcoordinate tasks to ensuretimelydelivery reduce backlogs and uphold high safety and quality standards.
This key role involves supervising maintenance staff managing contractor relationships and ensuring compliance with workplace safety. Your technicalexpertisewill guide the team inmaintainingthe hospitals systems buildings and equipment enabling the delivery of excellent patient technical support perform system checks (electrical plumbing etc.) and ensure the efficient completion of maintenance repair and installation activities.

Whowerelooking for
Strong technical backgroundideallywithexpertisein electricalandplumbingas well as exposure toallbuildingtrades including general maintenanceconstructionand HVAC.
Youllneedexperienceas an electrical fitter orinplant maintenance orin asimilarrolein a hospital or complex building setting.
Knowledge of Building Management Systems and the ability to troubleshoot using data and system feedback.
Aproven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals.
Strong problem-solving ability especially in high-pressure or urgent situations.
Relevant tertiary qualificationortrade certificatepreferred.
