Job Summary

Internal EOI IT Practice Manager Temporary opportunity up to 4th Dec 2026
Location Parramatta NSW Hybrid working supported
Salary relative to experience and ranges from $149739 to $173174 super

We are seeking an experienced IT Practice Manager to lead the IT Project Management practice and strengthen governance quality assurance and reporting across the Departments data and digital project portfolio.

You will oversee portfolio planning and delivery conduct project health checks and quality reviews uplift PM capability and provide expert advice on prioritisation risk and investment decisions. You will lead and develop a team of 58 staff and work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure projects deliver value and align with strategic priorities.

About you
You bring strong project/program leadership experience sound IT delivery knowledge and a proven ability to establish governance frameworks drive quality outcomes and manage complex stakeholder environments. You have demonstrated experience using project management frameworks or methodologies like PRINCE2/PMBOK.
