Our role is to drive visitation and expenditure through destination marketing and a strong pipeline of major regional and business events to support the visitor economy creating converting and connecting demand.

About this Position

Full-time (part-time applications may be considered)

Hybrid working 3 days in office Melbourne CBD based

Fixed term April to November 2026 (parental leave backfill)

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Graphic Designer to deliver high-level in-house creative services with a strong focus on Visit Victorias Official Visitor Products (large-scale print-first publications).

Our publications are high-profile high-volume pieces that require exceptional attention to detail strong typographic and layout capability and deep technical knowledge of print production processes. You will play a critical role in ensuring these flagship publications are delivered to the highest creative and production standards.

You will also contribute to a range of other creative outputs including campaign materials pitch documents for major event bids and corporate and consumer communications.

Key responsibilities include:

Designing and producing large-scale long-form print publications (including visitor guides) from concept through to final production

Providing high-level print and digital design services across Visit Victoria

Managing external suppliers including photographers copywriters and printers to ensure seamless production delivery

Advising internal stakeholders on creative briefs budgets timelines and production processes

About you

You are a senior designer with demonstrated experience delivering complex print-first marketing and corporate communications particularly long form or high-volume publications. You understand the nuances of pagination grids typography image management colour profiles paper stocks and pre-press requirements and you take pride in producing meticulous press-ready artwork.

Youll bring:

Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) designing and producing large-scale print publications

Strong technical knowledge of print production processes and workflows

High-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

Proven experience managing photographers copywriters and production suppliers

Strong project and contract management skills

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Strong focus on process excellence

Understanding of digital design principles and advertising formats

Working knowledge of copyright law
