About the opportunity

We are looking for a passionate and collaborative Principal Engineer to join our this role you will be a key influencer and a trusted advisor providing deep technical leadership and guidance across multiple teams. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our long-term technical vision ensuring our systems are secure scalable and sustainable for the communities we serve.

This is an opportunity to combine your love for architectural thinking with your hands-on technical expertise and strategic influence. You will champion modern practices support teams in solving complex challenges and foster a supportive and inclusive culture of engineering excellence where everyone can thrive.

In this role youll get to

• Guide the evolution of our core systems and platforms shaping technical direction through collaboration and prototyping.
• Nurture and mentor a talented community of engineers at all levels helping to build their capabilities and confidence.
• Champion and embed best practices in testing observability and security to uplift engineering quality across our services.
• Act as a trusted partner to Product and Engineering leaders helping to align technical solutions with our product strategy.
• Contribute to transformative large-scale initiatives and share your knowledge across different teams and domains.
• Represent the engineering voice in strategic discussions influencing decisions that have a real impact.

What youll bring to the role

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Highly skilled and hands-on experience in developing enterprise-wide quality engineering strategies tooling processes and frameworks.
• Uplifting and maturing release and environment management strategies tooling processes.
• A passion for software architecture distributed systems and creating thoughtful large-scale platform designs.
• A collaborative spirit with experience leading and influencing technical direction in complex environments.
• A natural ability to communicate complex ideas and build strong positive relationships with both technical and non-technical partners.
• A desire to lead through mentorship and coaching empowering others and sharing your knowledge.
