BGIS a global leader in facility management and real estate services is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-orientedAccounts Receivable Officerto join our finance team inMelbourne VIC.If youre a proactive and diligent professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for accuracy and efficiency we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing Accounts Receivable tasks including receipting raising invoices generating invoice copies maintenance of receipt registers distribution of bank statements and preparation of bank journals
  • Ensuring high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Supporting the finance and account teams with maintenance of invoice registers and undertaking ad hoc accounts receivable queries as required
  • Full compliance and consistency with the contract BGIS services business system and relevant legislation and accounting standards
  • Providing support as required with finance and related matters and other ad hoc duties.
  • Experience as an Accounts Officer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the use of an ERP

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience as an Accounts Officer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the use of an ERP
