The Raytheon Electronic Warfare - Electrical and Electronics Engineeringdepartment in Goleta California has an immediate opening for anElectrical Engineerwith experience withPower & Analog Design.

What You Will Do

Designcutting-edgepower supply solutions for our industry-leading Electronic Warfare (EW) and Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) systems that protect and empower our defense forces.

Createand analyzeadvanced analog and power conversion circuitsimplementhigh-performance design solutionssimulate and rigorously test hardware ina state-of-the-artlaboratory setting to ensure reliability in the most demanding environments.

Drive projects to completion collaboratewith multidisciplinary teams of expertsand occasionally lead them toward shared success.

Occasionally travel giving you opportunities to connect with broader teams and stakeholders.

What You Will Learn

Gain hands-on experience with the latest advancements in DC/DC and multiphase AC/DC power conversion switching power supply topologies control loop design and stability analysis.

Learn to applycutting-edgetools like SPICESIMPLISADS andHyperLynxPI to solve real-worlddesign and analysischallenges.

Deepen your understanding of the defense industry contributing to technologies that redefine the boundaries ofwhatspossible in aerospace and defense.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.

Experience in power conversion design mixed signal design or digital design.

Experiencein schematic capture block diagrams and parts lists for complex electronic systems.

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience designing airborne electronic products with stringent size weight and power(SWAP)constraints.

Advanced electrical design capabilities using tools likeSPICESIMPLISMATLAB ADS andHyperLynxPI.

Mentor GraphicsXPeditionschematic capture.

Experiencewithswitched-mode power supply design and modeling including working with transformers FETs inductors and other components.

Familiarity withRadio Frequency (RF)components POL supplies for RF circuitry and design considerations for integratinganalog/digital converters (ADCs)anddigital/analog converters (DACs)into complex systems.

Experience with testing electronic products with advanced tools likeoscilloscopes spectrum analyzers and power supply stability testers.

Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic development environment.

AMasters degree in Electrical Engineering.

The salary range for this role is 75800 USD - 144200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
