Job Summary
Role: Hardware Design Engineer (PCIe-based OCP board design)
Location: Atlanta GA - Onsite 5 days.
Role Summary
We are looking for a Hardware Design Engineer with strong experience in PCIe-based OCP board design focused on Ethernet NICs or Storage Controllers for high-performance data center platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop PCIe-based OCP accelerator/NIC/storage boards
Schematic design component selection and board bring-up
High-speed design for PCIe Ethernet DDR power and clocks
Work with SI/PI teams for signal and power integrity analysis
Debug hardware issues during bring-up and validation
Collaborate with firmware validation and system teams
Required Skills:
Strong experience in PCIe board-level hardware design
Hands-on experience with Ethernet NICs or Storage Controller hardware
Knowledge of OCP form factors and specifications (Open Compute Project)
High-speed interfaces: PCIe Gen4/Gen5 Ethernet (25G/50G/100G)
Schematic/layout tools and board bring-up (JTAG scopes analyzers)
Nice to Have
Experience with data center NICs or NVMe storage
Signal integrity power integrity and compliance testing experience
