If payroll accuracy compliance and confidentiality are your strengths this role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of end-to-end payroll administration within a professional deadline-driven environment.
This is a fixed term 5-month contract based in Midrand.Key Responsibilities:- Manage the full payroll lifecycle for monthly salaried employees
- Load and process new hires terminations and employee changes
- Maintain accurate employee master data (banking details IDs and personal information)
- Process maternity leave including calculations and UI19 submissions
- Administer all payroll deductions (garnishees staff debtors etc.)
- Process expense claims via payroll
- Reconcile payroll outputs including company reconciliations and remuneration lists
- Handle and resolve payroll-related queries professionally and timeously
- Ensure that payroll activities comply with internal policies procedures and legislation
- Maintain strict confidentiality and employee trust
- Contribute positively to overall team effectiveness and collaboration
Job Experience and Skills Required:- Grade 12
- Payroll Diploma (advantageous)
- Minimum 2 years experience in a payroll environment
- Qualified Sage 300 People Payroll Administrator
- Strong advanced Excel skills particularly VLOOKUP
- Working knowledge of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and Labour Relations Act
