Job Title

About your role:

You will be a technology professional adding value to a wide range of Software Development Lifecycle stages. You will work on production support activities including incidents change management problem management and certification support for multiple clients along with monthly patching for production environments. Your responsibilities will also include supporting and maintaining Kafka-based data pipelines and Chronos job scheduling workflows to ensure reliable and timely processing across production systems. You will create production run books maintain change registers perform impact analysis on production issues and ensure stability of platforms leveraging Kafka and Chronos.

What youll do:

• Participate in core production management functions including incident change and problem managementworking closely with crossfunctional teams for metrics-based tracking planning risk mitigation and certification support for top-tier clients.
• Support Kafka clusters topics consumer groups and message flows to ensure high availability and consistent data processing across production systems.
• Oversee and troubleshoot Chronos job scheduling workflows ensuring SLA adherence timely batch execution and automated recovery handling for failed tasks.
• Implement plan reviews and submit changes that improve platform resiliency change hygiene and operational success particularly for Kafka and Chronosdriven workloads.
• Collaborate with production assurance teams to maintain production run books change registers automations improvements and conduct detailed impact/root-cause analysis for issues involving data streaming or scheduling components.
• Provide production support for innovative highquality large-scale financial solutions working alongside industry-leading engineering and operations talent.
• Perform proactive monitoring across your environment using tools like Splunk Dynatrace Grafana Moogsoftincluding alerts and dashboards to track Kafka lag consumer health broker performance and Chronos job status.

Experience youll need to have:

• 5 years of experience working in an enterprise IT environment.
• 4 years of experience in Unix and Windows scheduling tools.
• 4 years of experience with monitoring tools like Splunk Dynatrace Grafana and Moog Soft.
• 4 years of experience with incidents change and problem management and ticketing tools like Service Now Remedy CA Service Desk.
• 3 years of experience inKafka and Chronos.
• 3 years of experience in production management application/platform monitoring on call schedule.
• Bachelors degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education military and work experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with automation and scripting languages.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with ARO PCF AWS Azure Google Cloud
• Experience using versioning control tools likeMS Visual Source Safe (VSS) Git and Bitbucket.

How youll work:

• This role is on-site position. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences helps you with your overall onboarding experience and lead to stronger productivity.
• This is a full-time direct-hire position and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered.
• This role may require being on-call during non-standard and/or overnight hours.
• This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
