About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Associate Transport Engineer to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality engineering design technical leadership and project management across a diverse portfolio of projects. This is an opportunity to influence strategic direction mentor emerging talent and drive excellence in project delivery.
Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Leading the delivery of transport engineering design and analysis tasks to the highest standards
- Applying sound project management principles to achieve project scope budget and timelines
- Collaborating proactively with internal teams clients and stakeholders
- Contributing to the commercial success and strategic growth of the business
- Providing informal leadership mentoring and technical guidance to team members
About You
You are a highly experienced and respected professional with a strong industry presence and a passion for delivering excellence.
Suitable applicants will be/have:
- Bachelors degree in engineering
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and RPEQ (preferred/required)
- 10 - 15 years of relevant professional experience in Transport Planning & Advisory
- Exceptional consulting client management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong commercial acumen including business planning and budgeting
- Advanced communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly
- Proven project management expertise across scope cost and schedule
- Sound understanding of Australian Standards and specifications
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment
- Adaptable proactive and committed to continuous learning
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure
