HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT
Financial & Operations Analyst - Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Physician Partners
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports including variance analysis and performance dashboards.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenue expenses and operational outcomes.
- Support the annual budget development process for all service lines departments and clinics.
Revenue Cycle & Operational Support
- Analyze patient volume trends payer mix reimbursement patterns and charge capture processes.
- Partner with billing and coding teams to identify revenue leakage monitor denials and evaluate collection performance.
- Conduct cost-benefit studies to support operational changes equipment purchases or new service offerings.
Strategic & Business Analysis
- Perform service-line profitability analysis physician productivity evaluations and clinic performance reviews.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership to support strategic initiatives such as expansion contract negotiations or clinical program development.
- Support value-based care and quality incentive programs through financial tracking and performance modeling.
Compliance & Financial Integrity
- Ensure financial processes adhere to healthcare regulations payer contracts and internal policies.
- Assist in internal and external audit preparation by gathering data and supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate financial data and assist with process improvements for reporting accuracy and efficiency.
WHAT YOULL NEED TO APPLY
Qualifications
**This position will require relocation to Tallahassee FL.**
Education
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Healthcare Administration Economics or related field required.
- Masters degree (MBA MHA MPH) preferred.
Experience
- 25 years of experience in financial analysis operations analysis or healthcare analytics.
- Experience in a medical group hospital or healthcare system strongly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Advanced Excel; proficiency in Power BI/Tableau a plus.
- Experience working with EHR/PM systems (Epic Cerner Athena etc.).
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
