We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clerk Typist to support our administrative and insurance operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing typing and maintaining documents related to policies claims billing and client correspondence.
This role requires strong typing accuracy attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information.
Key Responsibilities
- Type and prepare insurance policies endorsements claims documents and correspondence
- Enter and update information in company databases
- Review documents for accuracy spelling and formatting
- Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and paper)
- Assist with processing applications renewals and claims paperwork
- Answer basic phone inquiries and direct calls as needed
- Scan copy and distribute documents internally
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive client and company information
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with data entry or document management systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of office procedures
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
