Job Title: Shipping Clerk
Pay: $24 $26 per hour
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Interviews: 1st Round Virtual 2nd Round In-Person
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is responsible for preparing and shipping materials and chemicals in compliance with all applicable transportation regulations while maintaining safety accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and ship materials in compliance with:
Safely operate a forklift / powered industrial truck
Verify shipping documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
Coordinate with shipping and receiving team members
Maintain organized and accurate shipping records
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience shipping materials and chemicals required
Knowledge of DOT IATA and IMDG regulations preferred
Forklift experience required (ability to obtain certification)
Valid drivers license required
Basic computer skills (Email Word Excel) preferred
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Regular standing walking bending climbing and reaching
Exposure to industrial environments including moving machinery varying temperatures and moderate to loud noise levels
Standard PPE required daily
