About the role

As the Senior Support Officer your role will be part of the Shared Services Business Service and Enablement Directorate providing a customer-centred support to staff across the department on all aspects of travel management. You will ensure travel processes are smooth timely and compliant.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing financial reconciliation data accuracy and reporting
  • Supporting staff with travel bookings and travel related charges
  • Providing accurate and up-to--date advice on travel policies procedures and guidelines.

About you

As the Senior Support Officer you are detail-oriented organised and committed to delivering excellent customer service. Youll bring strong coordination skills and analytical thinking to support efficient travel management.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial reconciliation reporting and data management
  • Experience using systems such as SAP TRIM Microsoft Office applications and third-party travel platforms.

Essential requirements of the role

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Finance or a relevant/related discipline and/or demonstrated successful experience in a Shared Services/Contact Centre environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
