Job Description:
1. RERA & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with RERA regulations and other applicable real estate laws.
Draft review and vet RERA-related documents agreements disclosures and filings.
Coordinate with regulatory authorities for approvals and legal clarifications.
2. SRA & Redevelopment Projects
Handle legal documentation and approvals related to SRA and redevelopment projects.
Draft and review Development Agreements PAAA (Permanent Alternate Accommodation Agreements) and other project-related contracts.
Liaise with government bodies societies tenants and developers for legal matters.
3. Drafting & Documentation
Draft vet and negotiate various agreements including:
Development Agreements
Joint Venture Agreements
Sale Agreements
Leave & License Agreements
Contractor and Vendor Agreements
Ensure all documents safeguard company interests and minimize legal risks.
4. Litigation Management
Handle civil and criminal matters related to real estate projects.
Coordinate with external advocates and represent the company before courts tribunals and statutory authorities.
Prepare case briefs replies legal notices and affidavits.
Monitor ongoing cases and ensure timely updates and compliance.
5. Non-Litigation Matters
Provide legal advisory support to internal departments (Projects Sales CRM Finance etc.).
Conduct legal due diligence for land acquisition and redevelopment projects.
Review title documents and ensure clear and marketable title.
6. Risk Management & Advisory
Identify potential legal risks in ongoing and upcoming projects.
Provide strategic legal advice to management on disputes and compliance matters.
Ensure adherence to local state and central laws applicable to real estate projects.
