We are looking for a high-impact Content Marketing Manager who can directly influence product discoverability merchant activation and brand positioning across our Shopify app portfolio.
This role is not limited to writing. You will own App Store visibility strategy ensure product documentation excellence and craft compelling product narratives for public communication. Your work will directly impact installs merchant understanding and product adoption.
Key Responsibilities
App Store Optimization (ASO) Revenue Impact Role
Own end-to-end Shopify App Store optimization strategy.
Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to improve search visibility.
Optimize titles descriptions feature highlights and positioning for higher install conversion.
Continuously test and refine messaging based on performance metrics.
Monitor ranking trends competitor movement and category dynamics.
Provide data-backed recommendations to increase organic installs.
Product Documentation & User Manuals Activation Enablement
Create structured easy-to-follow user manuals and help center documentation.
Translate complex product functionality into clear merchant workflows.
Collaborate closely with Product QA Development and Support teams to ensure technical accuracy.
Proactively update documentation for new feature releases.
Identify documentation gaps that impact merchant onboarding or feature adoption.
Social Media & Product Announcements Brand Authority
Craft strategic feature launch announcements for LinkedIn and relevant channels.
Develop benefit-driven messaging for product updates.
Ensure consistent positioning and tone across public communications.
Strengthen brand credibility through clear and confident product communication.
Requirements
2 years experience in SaaS content product marketing or ASO-focused roles.
Proven experience optimizing marketplace listings (Shopify preferred).
Strong understanding of eCommerce and Shopify merchant behavior.
Ability to combine technical clarity with persuasive positioning.
Writing scripts for demos of the companys products.
Ensuring the relevance of website content documentation and demos.
Publishing company products on relevant platforms.
Creating content for websites email newsletters blog posts and social media.
Working with analytics and documentation.
Developing content plans.
Interacting with other company departments (Development Technical Support QA) regarding documentation development.
Participating in developing product promotion strategies in collaboration with other marketing team members product and growth teams.
