Regional HR Manager

Purpose of the role
The Regional HR Manager oversees the strategic and operational functioning of core HR processes within their region focusing on goal-setting KPIs and improving employee experience. The role involves managing payroll contracting immigration and vendor relations while supporting long-term process improvements and acting as a key escalation point for HR operational issues.
Responsibilities
- Strategically and operationally manage HR functions within the region
- Initiate plan and manage payroll taxation immigration and contracting initiatives
- Oversee annual payroll activities and ensure adherence to the payroll calendar
- Monitor immigration and contracting deliverables within defined deadlines
- Manage cost control annual savings targets and quarterly/monthly financial planning
- Collaborate with the Compensation and Benefits team regarding legislative changes impacting employee remuneration costs
- Define reporting structures dashboards and KPIs ensuring timely delivery
- Prepare regular and ad hoc leadership reports
- Implement and harmonize service standards processes and policies across regions
- Participate actively in HR projects and develop HR-relevant structures/processes
- Manage vendor relationships seeking opportunities for improvement and ensuring SLA compliance
- Monitor outsourced team performance against SLA deliverables
- Oversee and participate in disciplinary procedures ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Advise Cabin and Flight Operations managers on appropriate disciplinary actions
- People Management
- Lead and manage the regional HR team
- Ensure adequate headcount and effective workforce management
- Establish and monitor a stable knowledge management base for business continuity
- Coach motivate and develop team members while leading by example
- Regularly collect employee experience feedback to enhance processes
Experience
- 4-6 years of experience with 3 years of experience in delivering and managing high-quality HR services in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in coordinating operational teams with diverse professional backgrounds
- Strategic leadership experience (advantageous)
Hard skills
- Advanced knowledge of payroll procedures (advantageous)
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP/Payroll systems is a plus
Education
Bachelors or Masters degree
Language
Fluent English (both written and spoken); additional European language is a plus
