The Opportunity

Under the general supervision of the Director Center for International Programs and Services the International Student Coordinator will serve as the main advisor for F-1 and J-1 international students and be responsible for managing and providing immigration and visa-related service functions while ensuring compliance with federal regulations and reporting requirements. The International Student Coordinator will also serve as a back-up ARO for the ERAU J-1 exchange visitor program and supports the Director as a DSO for the ERAU Prescott F-1 visa program.

Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or 3 years of professional work experience
  • Experience working with people of diverse backgrounds;
  • Ability to learn and use new technologies look at challenges from a unique perspective and support international education generally;
  • Ability to monitor and effectively report progress towards articulated goals;
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines;
  • Enthusiasm commitment and dedication to the improvement of the student university experience

Must be a US citizen or lawful permanet resident to serve as a DSO/ARO in SEVIS.
