Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
Assist in the maintenance and tracking of the schools string instrument inventory. Report back repair needs to the Instrument Coordinator. Occasionally assist with string instrument checkout as needed.
Transferable Skills:
-Organization responsibility comfort with diagnosing and fixing minor string instrument ailments
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Perform minor maintenance (string replacement seam closing etc.) on school owned string instruments as needed and capable
-Advise Instrument Coordinator when more involved repairs are necessary on string inventory
-Assist in string instrument checkout and management as needed
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
-Minor string repair experience (ie. Changing strings gluing seams etc.)
-Comfort with Google Suite especially sheets
