Job Summary
As an SDE3 on the Agent Fabric team you will own the design and delivery of critical infrastructure components that enable Amazon Ads to build and deploy AI agents at scale. Youll work at the intersection of distributed systems machine learning infrastructure and developer tooling defining technical strategy for how thousands of advertisers interact with AI-powered advertising solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in building scalable platforms and comfort with ambiguity as youll be building in an emerging space where best practices and technical requirements are still be defined. You will need strong system design skills ability to define technical strategy and capability to influence architecture decisions across multiple teams.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the full software development lifecycle from design to production launch of core infrastructure components and services
- Build highly scalable low-latency infrastructure supporting real-time agent execution
- Define technical standards and best practices for agent development testing and deployment
- Partner with applied scientists to translate research innovations into production-ready services
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to engineers across multiple teams
- 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
