We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 - General & Vascular for a leading Hospital in Dublin Ireland.

Hours: 37.5 per week (Full-Time)
Responsibilities
Provide 24-hour accountability for the delivery of high-quality evidence-based patient care ensuring clinical effectiveness efficiency and compliance with best practice standards.
Deliver strong professional and clinical leadership promoting excellence in nursing practice and acting as a role model within the unit.
Monitor evaluate and continuously improve the quality of care ensuring accurate documentation effective communication and timely reporting to the Matron and senior management as required.
Lead quality improvement initiatives manage complaints in collaboration with the Quality and Risk Manager and support patient satisfaction strategies.
Manage staffing resources effectively including rostering allocation of duties monitoring absences and ensuring optimal skill mix to meet service demands within allocated resources.
Oversee recruitment performance management annual appraisals and ensure compliance with hospital HR policies and mandatory training requirements (e.g. CPR Manual Handling Fire Safety Customer Care).
Foster a positive work environment by promoting staff morale teamwork professional accountability and providing supportive supervision across all shifts.
Identify and support the educational and professional development needs of nursing staff including facilitating student placements mentorship and continuous professional development.
Maintain a safe clean and therapeutic environment for patients staff and visitors ensuring effective communication within the unit and across multidisciplinary teams.
Deputise for the Matron when required participate in hospital committees support policy implementation and contribute to strategic planning and service development initiatives.
Requirements
Be registered in the General Division of the register maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (formerly An Bord Altranais).
Have a minimum of five years post-registration experience with at least two years recent experience in General Theatre.
Hold an appropriate qualification and/or possess relevant management experience suitable to the post.
Provide evidence of ongoing personal and professional development (CPD).
