Responsibilities
- Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to grow market share within the General Trade segment.
- Identify onboard and manage distributors super stockists and retail networks.
- Ensure consistent product availability and optimal placement in retail outlets kirana stores supermarkets and local trade channels.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through proactive territory management.
- Monitor competitor activities pricing strategies and emerging market trends to maintain a competitive edge.
- Conduct regular field visits to assess product visibility stock levels and retail execution.
- Oversee secondary sales performance and ensure efficient inventory turnover across the distribution network.
- Build and maintain strong trust-based relationships with retailers and distribution partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams on supply chain logistics promotional campaigns and product launches.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in packaged food sales.
- Proven expertise in General Trade (GT) channel sales and distribution.
- Demonstrated experience in selling to retail shops and managing distributor networks.
- Solid understanding of territory planning market expansion and distribution strategy.
- Exceptional negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
