Our Client is an Australian mortgage broking and finance advisory service that helps clients secure lending and financial solutions tailored to their goals.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Loan Processor is responsible for managing loan applications from start to finish. This includes gathering and verifying applicant information ensuring compliance with all regulations and preparing loan files for underwriting. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills - effective interaction resourceful and able to find solutions independently anticipating challenges and proactively addressing them can be trusted to handle information maintain confidentiality and consistently deliver quality work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative Support
Managing appointment bookings and coordinating calendars for multiple brokers
Conducting lead follow-ups
Maintaining regular client follow-ups to ensure timely communication and outstanding items are completed
Data entry across CRM and lender systems
Renaming organising and maintaining client documents and files
Answering and directing incoming phone calls in a professional manner
General office administration and workflow support
Post-Settlement & Loan Maintenance
Conducting loan reviews and preparing review documentation
Managing loan discharges and liaising with lenders and clients
Processing loan splits switches and restructures
Handling loan and security variations
Ordering and tracking property valuations
Submitting and following up pricing requests with lenders
Ensuring all post-settlement changes are accurately recorded and completed
Ad Hoc & Additional Duties
Providing general support to brokers as required
Assisting with process improvements and administrative efficiencies
Supporting compliance and record-keeping requirements
Other administrative and operational tasks as required
Requirements
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Proficiency in loan processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to loan processing.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong English Language Skills - written & verbal.
Bachelors degree in finance business or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in loan processing or a related field.
