Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Bakery Chef to lead our production of high-quality baked goods and pastries. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both traditional and modern techniques and a passion for creating exceptional products that meet brand standards and customer expectations

Create and produce a wide range of bakery and pastry items including
Croissants (classic filled and creative variations)
Breads (sourdough brioche focaccia baguettes)
Cakes and cake batters (sponge chiffon pound and layered cakes)
Cookies muffins brownies and bars
Tarts eclairs choux pastry and mille-feuille
Middle Eastern and international dessert items
Seasonal and custom-designed baked products

Innovate and test new recipes with a focus on creativity presentation and taste
Ensure consistency in product quality and adherence to brand standards
Supervise daily operations of the bakery and pastry section
Maintain cleanliness and uphold food safety and hygiene protocols
Monitor ingredient levels manage ordering and inventory
Lead and train junior staff to follow recipes and techniques correctly
Collaborate with the management team on menu development and seasonal offerings


Qualifications :

Proven experience in a pastry bakery or relevant role
Solid understanding of pastry and baking tools and equipment.
Solid pastry and cake decorating skills will be considered an asset.
A certificate in culinary arts pastry-making baking or a relevant field will be considered an asset.
Basic verbal and written communication skills in English
Considerable skill in simple mathematical calculations.
A detailed-oriented mindset aiming for consistent results
Be able to interact with colleagues in a positive and professional manner in order to make them feel valued and maximize staff morale and guest service experience.
Able to carry out various tasks simultaneously and effectively in a limited amount of time.
